Turn a shape and an attachment into a complete accessory.

Hoplok develops custom leather bag charms for brands, retailers and coordinated accessory collections. A charm brief needs more than a silhouette: overall size, body construction, attachment hardware, logo placement and packaging determine how the design can be sampled and quoted.

Tell us whether the charm will be sold separately, packed with a bag or developed as part of a matching range. The product image shows style references; its colors, shapes and decorative components do not define your final material specification.

Discuss a bag charm design

Colorful bag charm styles with metal clips — Hoplok product library reference
Style reference from the Hoplok product library. Materials, dimensions and hardware follow your approved sample.
Accessory MOQ, sample timing and tooling are quoted by design and material.

Send the quantity for each shape and color. Do not apply bag, belt or wallet minimums to a separate charm program without confirmation.

Specify the charm and how it connects to the bag

Shape and dimensions
Artwork or a sample, finished dimensions, flat or dimensional body, seam allowance requirements and any filling.
Material and finish
Leather or other agreed material, thickness, front/back colors, texture, edge treatment and lining where applicable.
Attachment
Clip, ring, loop or strap arrangement; matching bag hardware dimensions; finish and opening requirements.
Logo and artwork
Embossed, printed or other requested branding; position, artwork size and any third-party design permissions.
Retail presentation
Single charm or set, labels, protective packing, display cards and required barcode information.

Check the interaction with the bag

Review the charm on the intended handle, ring or attachment point. Check whether the hardware opens far enough, whether the charm moves freely and whether exposed edges or metal surfaces rub against the bag. The accessory should be reviewed in the context in which customers will use it.

  • Compare the finished outline, dimensions, color and logo with approved references.
  • Inspect seams, edge finish, small decorative parts and the attachment assembly.
  • Check the packed product for rubbing, compression and tangling during handling.
  • Agree relevant attachment-strength, color-transfer and destination-market requirements before making performance or compliance claims.

Plan a coordinated accessory range

Use a shared color reference and hardware finish when a charm will accompany a bag. Approval of a bag sample does not automatically approve every accessory material or component. Record the charm specification and any set-packing instructions separately.

Questions to resolve before sampling

Can the charm match a handbag collection?

Yes. Share the bag’s material and color references, hardware finish and intended attachment point. Confirm matching criteria in the charm sample rather than relying on screen colors.

Can you reproduce a character or another brand’s logo?

Provide artwork you are entitled to use and any required authorization. The design and sampling discussion should establish the permitted artwork before tooling or production.

Does a charm suitable for an adult handbag qualify as a children’s product?

Do not assume this. Tell us the intended age group, market and use before sampling so appropriate product requirements can be reviewed. A decorative accessory should not be marketed as a tested children’s item without the relevant assessment.
