Ask for the site-specific audit documents and material evidence relevant to your order, including any proposed recycled-content claim.

Social audit information supports responsible-sourcing review. Request the relevant factory, audit scope, date and corrective-action status rather than treating an audit as a product certificate.
Manufacturing Practices
We discuss the material, finishing and production requirements for the order. Any environmental improvement claim needs a defined scope and supporting records.
Vertical Integration: Our LWG Gold-Certified ProPelli Facility
A great product starts with the material. While many manufacturers simply buy finished leather, we believe in controlling quality at the source. That’s why we invested in our own self-owned finishing facility, ProPelli, in Cambodia.
ProPelli holds a valid LWG Gold facility rating. It receives crust from partner tanneries and specialises in belt leather and other leather finishing; it is not a tannery.
What Buyers Can Review
- The facility identity, current rating and relevant scope.
- The source and article reference for the supplied crust leather.
- The approved colour, handle and finish, including pull-up, Crazy Horse and washed effects where suitable.
- Order-specific material and product assessment requirements.
The facility rating does not guarantee every product’s regulatory compliance, perfect consistency or a quantified cost or environmental saving.
Materials for a Conscious Brand
We can review leather, synthetic and recycled-content options against the product brief. Compare their composition, performance, sourcing evidence and proposed claims rather than assuming any category is automatically sustainable.
Leather from LWG-Rated Facilities
We prioritise leather sourcing from LWG-rated facilities. Confirm the proposed material, supplier and current facility scope for your order; the rating applies to the facility.
Recycled-Content Material Options
For a recycled-material brief, specify the component, required recycled content and supporting certification or chain-of-custody documentation. We will confirm suitable options and available evidence before sampling.

Additional Material Requirements
Tell us your requirements for lining, adhesives and packaging, including any organic or recycled-content claim. We review availability, composition and the evidence for the selected components.
Beyond Audits: The Science of Safety & Compliance
Environmental goals and product safety requirements need separate evidence. We agree the relevant material and finished-product checks for your design, intended users and destination market.
Product-Specific Compliance Review
Physical testing and chemical analysis are different activities. We coordinate the inspection and testing scope for the actual materials and product, using qualified external laboratories where needed.
- EU requirements: identify applicable restrictions for the material and use.
- US requirements: review the product category and intended user, including child-specific requirements where applicable.
- California requirements: assess relevant obligations with qualified support.
Request reports linked to the selected samples and agreed methods. A report or facility audit does not establish that every product is completely safe under every condition.
Review Facility and Product Evidence
Our records include management systems, social audits and leather-facility ratings with different scopes. Request current documents for the relevant site and product. A logo alone is not evidence that the complete order meets every market requirement.
