A cosmetic bag can be a flat pouch, a structured case, or part of a coordinated travel set. Bottle dimensions, brush storage, opening access, and lining requirements should guide the construction. Make the opening and lining part of the specification
A wide opening can make products easier to see, while a compact zip pouch may suit a small accessory range. Identify whether bottles need to stand upright and whether brushes require a separate section. An apparently washable lining does not make the entire bag washable or leakproof. State the intended cleaning method and any liquid-resistance requirement so the lining, seams, and shell can be considered together.

Material selection and finish development
Review the shell material and interior requirements separately. Leather can be developed in the required surface color and texture; PU is another quoting option. ProPelli, our LWG Gold-rated leather finishing facility, works on crust supplied by partner tanneries. Any stain-resistance, cleaning, or liquid-containment claim needs to be checked for the selected materials and completed construction.

What to check before approving the sample
- Pack the sample with the intended bottles, containers, and brushes, then check closure and access.
- Review zipper ends, seam bulk, interior corners, and how the lining sits when the bag is full.
- Check handles, pullers, brush holders, and divisions for the agreed use conditions.
- Compare color, logo placement, lining, and packing with approved references; verify any cleaning or resistance claim separately.
Record agreed materials, measurements, construction details, branding, and any test requirements in the approved specification. Confirm revisions before bulk production. Our quality control page explains the broader inspection process.
Cosmetic Bags: development questions
Can I develop several sizes as one cosmetic bag set?
Yes, a coordinated size range can be discussed. Supply the dimensions and planned quantity of each size and material so the team can confirm the order structure and quotation.
Can the interior be easy to wipe clean?
Tell us which products may contact the lining and the intended cleaning method. Material selection and sample checks should be based on that use; easy cleaning is not the same as a leakproof construction.
Can brushes and bottles have separate compartments?
Provide their dimensions and preferred orientation. We can review dividers, loops, or separate pockets in the sample, including how they affect the usable space and zipper access.
